This is the third in our series of Mission: Hope (formerly ROW) product and could very well be the very best “no salt” blend ever, anywhere, for all time! The name “Old Man River” came about when Ben Mathes asked for a new blend for folks that want less salt in their diet. Ben is founder of Rivers of the World (now named Mission: Hope) and is often referred to as the “Old Man”. Anyways, Carol came up with this amazing blend, and Dave came up with the new name “Old Man River” … Ben loved the blend and loved the name!Like many of our products, for those who want no salt, this seasoning is good for just about any dish.
