The Golden Isles Olive Oil Gourmet Food Shop in Redfern Village has expanded and opening a new wine bar with cheese, charcuterie and a small plates & small bites menu this June. Donnateca is an upscale casual environment perfect for date nights, girls nights, family nights and everything in between. Offering an amazing wine list and small bite cuisine, gourmet cheese's and charcuterie boards.
Chef Assistant -
This is a chef driven concept pairing wine with our menu of cheeses, charcuterie and small plates. Utilizing seasonal and local ingredients to create outstanding small bites and small plate menu.
You should have a deep knowledge of food preparation activities, ingredients and food combinations.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables and meats
• Assist head chef in cooking dishes according to set recipes
• Make arrangements to store food items in a safe and orderly manner
• Rotate frozen food items as standardized in the kitchen rule book
• Maintain kitchen order by ensuring cleanliness of tables, counters and work areas
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and grills for cooking purposes
• Maintain knowledge of all recipes so that the head chef’s place can be filled in effectively in case of absenteeism
• Set prepared dishes so that they look aesthetically pleasing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $10.00 to $13.00 /hour

Golden Isles Olive Oil is looking for a well-presented server who can make any event a success. We are a wine bar with cheese, charcuterie and a small plates & small bites We will be open seven days a week.
